Wedding Cake Gallery
What a better place than a wedding cake gallery to get ideas to design your own beauty! Making your own dessert for
your reception party can be very intimidating... I couldn’t do it. It requires REALLY a lot of work, time and
patience. (I know you can’t wait, so before I get lost in writing, here is the Wedding Cake Gallery page).
In searching for ideas, I realized that it takes a very long time to find pictures of wedding
cakes! You will be surprised, really! So I’ve done the work for you. I spent an entire day (and I mean a good 10
hours) on internet, searching for the best, most curious and unique wedding cakes, so that you can quickly get
ideas to make your own.
When you are organizing a wedding, the last thing you need is to spend an entire day on the
computer, looking for seemingly impossible to find information. I hope my effort will be useful to you.
Most of the works of art you will see in the Wedding Cake Gallery are very unique. Some of them
are quite unusual, like the beach theme wedding cakes. I love the one with the Volkswagen van, I think it’s
the most unique and sweet one at the same time.
The castle wedding cake is undoubtedly very beautiful (the one that really looks like a
castle), but I am not sure it is suitable for a wedding. Taking the flowers away, I would use it for a boy’s
birthday party. That’s just me.
I think the most beautiful wedding cake is the one made in the shape of a flower pot; I
think that is by far the most creative and artistic one. Then still in my opinion, the sweetest one is the very
first; it looks casual, elegant and lovely.
Before you start looking at cake designs for wedding, consider a few practical aspects of
the work ahead: do you have the tools to embark in such a culinary journey? Is your oven big enough to bake the
different sizes? Is your refrigerator big enough to store your mountain of sugar?
Remember that it is a food product and it must be stored at a temperature between 5°C and 8°C
(41°F and 45°F). Most of all: do you have time to do this? For obvious reasons, you can’t prepare it a month
earlier... it’s food and it goes bad... must be fresh. At the same time though, you can prepare it too late... you
don’t really know how long it will take you to finish it.
And finally: are you sure you want to do this? Do you have the patience required... in a time in
which you are under extreme stress? My advises can sound obvious, but in the rush of a wedding preparation, many
people don’t think about the obvious.
Enjoy your cake!
